4.6 Password

The Trooper™ TR4-10 DVR can implement password protection that will

disable the use of the front panel buttons.

To enable the password

protection, change the

Password Enable option to ‘ON’.

The default password is

‘888888’. This can be easily

changed using the ‘JOG’ wheel.

The password characters can be

the numbers 0 through 9,

uppercase letters, and some

punctuation.

When PASSWORD ENABLE is ‘ON’, the user cannot stop the recording or

enter the menus unless the Password is entered. When entering the

Password, use the center JOG Wheel to change the password character and

use the ‘LEFT’ and ‘RIGHT’ buttons to move between characters.
