Video Problems
If there is no video signal from the VIDEO OUTPUT jack on the DVR front panel:
• Is a video monitor connected to the VIDEO OUTPUT jack on the termination panel at
the back of the DVR? Only one monitor can be connected at a time.
If all live camera pictures are snowy, fuzzy or grainy:
• Is the red LOW VOLTAGE light on the front panel of the DVR on steady? Measure the
input voltage and determine why it is below 10.5 VDC.
• Is the power and ignition harness from the DVR connected as close to the battery
(or master battery switch) as possible? See the
Power and Ignition Harness wiring
instructions on page
9.
If only one live camera pictures is snowy, fuzzy or grainy:
• Are the camera harness connections inside the camera secure?
• Is the camera harness damaged?
• Is the camera harness plugged into the DVR termination panel securely?
Audio Problems
If there is no live audio from the AUDIO OUTPUT jacks on the DVR front panel:
• Is a video monitor connected to the audio output jacks on the termination panel at
the back of the DVR? Only one monitor can be connected at a time.
• Is the sensitivity adjustment on the audio module in the camera turned down too
low?
• Is the camera harness wired to the proper terminal blocks inside the camera?
• Is the camera harness damaged?
or
• Is the camera harness plugged into the
CAMERA 1 CAMERA 2 connectors on the
DVR termination panel?
• If microphones are plugged into the
or AUDIO INPUT 1 AUDIO INPUT 2 jacks on the
DVR termination panel, are the audio inputs from
and CAMERA 1 CAMERA 2
disconnected inside the cameras?
